Team in Training is launching a new program for busy moms and others who want to train to walk or run. Please join us at Java Mama Coffee.
The Greater Sacramento Area Chapter of Team in Training is launching a new program for busy moms and others who want to train to walk or run a 5K or 10k and, at the same time, raise funds to benefit the nonprofit Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Participants will begin training on September 20 and complete their season on November 22 by running or walking in the Davis Turkey Trot.
While this new event is called Moms in Training, it is open to Dads as well, and to all adults who want exercise and the opportunity to make new friends while helping a worthwhile cause. Training will be in the Folsom and Sacramento Areas at family-friendly and safe parks. People from throughout the Greater Sacramento Area are invited.

Participants in Moms in Training do two things: 1. Receive advice and coaching from expert runners and walkers and 2. Raise funds to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and its research and therapy programs to cure blood cancers.
Please join us at Java Mama Coffee in Folsom on September 6, 2014 at 10am for an information meeting to answer questions about the program.
