Monday is Deadline to Register to Vote
Roseville residents: Your last chance to register to vote in the Nov. 6 general election is Monday, Oct. 22.

The deadline to register to vote in order to cast a ballot in the Nov. 6 general election is Monday, Oct. 22.
Applications submitted online at RegisterToVote.ca.gov prior to midnight Monday will be honored, as will paper forms postmarked by the deadline. Paper applications are available at all post offices and libraries in Placer County, as well as outside of the Placer County Office of Elections until midnight Oct. 22, at 2956 Richardson Drive in Auburn.
Placer County Office of Elections will also be open the two weekends prior to the election from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 27, 28 and Nov. 3 and 4 to process vote-by-mail requests and issue vote-by-mail ballots over the counter, according to a press release.

Voters can drop off completed registration forms at a drive-up drop-off box located in front of the Office of Elections.
“This department is always looking for ways to be more accessible to the voters of the county. That is why I began weekend service more than fifteen years ago,” said Jim McCauley, Placer County Clerk-Recorder-Registrar of Voters, in a news release. “We hope weekend hours enable even more people to take advantage of vote-by-mail voting and have their voices heard.”
