Temperatures are expected to be about average for Labor Day weekend in Roseville with a highs ranging from 94 degrees today to 100 on Monday. Nights should be cool at around 65 through Tuesday. Winds are expected to stay in the calm 5-10 mph range and humidity should be in the high 20%-low 30% range.

- The Roseville Historical Society has job opening for a Museum Administrator. History lovers, this job is for you! Help run the day-to-day operations of the much-loved Carnegie Museum in Roseville. The part-time job is 20 hours per week and pays $18-$20 per hour. Check out more details and apply on the museum's Facebook. (Roseville Historical Society)
- The City Of Roseville has issued new water conservation mandates concerning landscape watering. Residential water users will now have two days per week to water: Monday and Friday. Commercial watering days will shift to Monday and Thursday. Users utilizing drip irrigation are exempted from the mandate, which is expected to stay in place until October 31st. (Press Release Desk)
- When reality gets to be just too much, head over to the new, locally owned Heroes Virtual Reality Adventures that just opened at 731 Pleasant Grove Blvd. (in the Nugget Plaza). This second location joins the one on Taylor Road in offering VR fun to the Roseville area. According to a statement from the operators, "Our new location is a bit smaller but runs upgraded stations and equipment for an elevated experience." (Subscription: Sacramento Business Journal)
- There have been more than a few reports of wild animals wandering into more developed areas as they seek to escape the wildfires in Northern California. Some are injured, but many are just looking for a safe place to be. Well-intentioned humans can sometimes cause more harm than good by trying to help out our animal neighbors. - The Opera House Saloon is back! 2019 Sammies winning band Moonshine Crazy will be in the house tonight with modern country tunes you can’t help but scoot your boots to. Come celebrate this much-awaited grand reopening. Tickets are $15-$25 at Brown Paper Tickets. 9:00 pm-1:00 am
- Sleeves Up Placer will be at the Galleria, outside in the promenade, to give you a shot in the arm - literally. Come your free COVID-19 vaccination. Noon-4:00 pm
- “Take a peek” at Denio’s Farmers Market today for the Cool September Mornings Classic Car Show. Check out some sweet rides, enjoy craft beers and live music, and make sure to get one of those amazing corn dogs (mustard optional).
