Here are the top stories today in Roseville:

  1. We're nearly halfway through the first month of the year and we're still learning about all of the new California laws that may impact us. Roseville Today is bringing them to us. Today, we learn about "school drinking water, property taxes, concert and festival safety, naturopathic doctors, and more."
  2. During its Tuesday meeting, the Placer County Board of Supervisors ratified a local emergency proclamation for the county. (Gold Country Media)
  3. "Every year Tilton-Pacific Construction in Rocklin does a Christmas charity donation drive in partnership with their many sub-contractors." This year, the companies entered into a friendly competition that garnered amazing results: They were able to raise $22,000 for athletic programs at Pathways High School! A big shoutout to all of the donors. (City of Roseville, California Police Department via Facebook)
  4. The City of Rocklin is hosting a virtual community workshop, addressing improvements in city pedestrian and bicycle access. The goal is to increase pedestrian movement while enhancing safety. The meeting on January 19 "will discuss the refined project designs and discuss any other questions from the community." (Facebook.com)
