Ballet’s greatest comedy, Coppélia portrays the tangled story of Swanilda and Franz, whose engagement is threatened after Franz thinks he has fallen in love with mysterious, beautiful and silent girl. Swanhilda discovers Franz’ new found love is only a doll and decides to impersonate Coppélia to show him his foolishness and win him back. Chaos ensuses...will Swanhilda and Franz get back together and marry after all? Join Placer Theatre Ballet for this fun ballet, appropriate for all ages.
