  2. One Del Oro coach can say that he knows the thrill of being on the kickoff return team for the Philadelphia Eagles on the opening kickoff of the Super Bowl! Coach Josh Parry of Loomis played for Andy Reid's Eagles in Super Bowl XXXIX, alongside such names as Donovan McNabb and Terrell Owens. Of course, Andy Reid is now head coach for the Chiefs. So, will Parry be rooting for his ex-coach or his ex-team this year? It turns out coaches are pretty special, so Reid gets Parry's cheers this time around. (Gold Country Media)
  3. The Placer County Supervisors have a full agenda on Tuesday. First up, they will consider donating $50,000 to the Placer County Sheriff’s Council for its Fallen Deputy Monument. Secondly, they will consider "approving a proclamation establishing February 2023 as Grand Jury Awareness Month," and finally, they will look at increasing rental fees for the Placer County Public Recreation Area.   4. Dignity Health Advanced Imaging opened a new office! The new site is located within a 16,000-square-foot building on Iron Point Road in Folsom. The facility "will provide several services including CT, diagnostic imaging, ultrasounds, mammography and MRI scans with new technology." The site will serve patients in the greater Folsom, Sacramento and El Dorado Hills areas. (ABC10.com KXTV)
