Holiday Help Wanted: Ace Hardware, Macy's Little Ones, More

As you prepare for the holidays, so are local retailers. In an effort to help you out, we've created a special holiday Help Wanted edition. For the next couple of weeks, we will feature both holiday and seasonal job opportunities.

Ace Hardware, Macy's and Little Ones are among the companies hiring this week for seasonal help. We've also included a couple non-seasonal opportunities like one at American Pacific Mortgage.

Position: Cashier

Duties: Greet customers as they come in, answer phones, be aware of all store promotions, ring up merchandise, operate a cash register and various tasks.

Requirements: High school graduate, retail experience, highly organized and ability to be flexible in terms of scheduling.

Duties: Ensure customers have a positive shopping experience, assist in training new employees, process new shipments and answer customer questions on the floor.

Position: Retail help

Location: Westfield Galleria at Roseville

Duties: Customer service and provide retail sales and transactions.

Requirements: Must love everything girly, frills, tutus and bows, at least 18 years of age, 6 months retail experience, good eye for matching, outgoing, excellent customer service and reliable.

Compensation: $8 per hour plus commission.

Vector Marketing

Position: Holiday help, customer service

Duties: Explain products to holiday shoppers and assist them with placing orders.

Requirements: Highly motivated and a team player.

Position: Post closing HUD analyst

Duties: Order final HUD 1 on closed loan files, work with banks to minimize errors during the loan process and coordinate with escrow to ensure an error free experience.

Requirements: 3 years experience in mortgage lending, strong computer skills and must have a deep, up to date knowledge of guidelines and process.

Compensation: $15-$16 per hour.
