  1. RCSD Superintendent Derk Garcia shares an optimistic message for the kickoff of the school year. He wants you to know that schools need instructional aides and substitute teachers. You can lend a helping hand by applying today at edjoin.org/rcsdk8. He reminds us that RCSD provides one free breakfast and lunch during each school day to any student who requests them, regardless of their free or reduced-price meal eligibility. He welcomes the seven new principals in the district and, finally, he has a reminder on campus safety. You can read the full message here. (Roseville Today)
