ROSEVILLE, CA — Evelyn Irwin, a beloved resident of Oakmont of Westpark, will mark her 107th birthday on Sunday, May 18, with a celebration of art, memories, and joy. Born during World War I, Irwin has lived a century-plus life rich with creativity, resilience, and reflection.

Originally from Lake Oswego, Oregon, Irwin is a mother of three, a former prom queen, an oil painting teacher, and the cover artist behind Yesterseasons, a book capturing the essence of a simpler, more reflective era. Memorabilia and personal artwork from her life will be on display during the party.

Irwin’s journey includes overcoming a life-threatening stomach ulcer, marrying the cardiologist who helped her recover, and embracing nutrition and gardening as cornerstones of wellness. “I’ve had nothing and everything at the same time,” she said. “Now, I’m where I should be.”
