If you're headed to Downtown Roseville Saturday, be aware that the Roseville Fire Department will be conducting training exercises and will be setting a series of small room fires at 115 S. Grant St.
The training will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 14 and will give firefighters the ability to practice fire attack, search and rescue operations.

Only wood pallets and dry straw will be burned inside the building — the building itself will not be allowed to burn. Precautions have been taken to ensure the safety of the public and all surrounding structures.
This type of training is essential to maintaining well-trained firefighters and will allow fire personnel a chance to enhance their skills in fire suppression while working in a safe, controlled environment.
