Here are the top stories in Roseville today:
- The Placer County Board of Supervisors approved a plan for a complex to be called the Placer Commerce Center. The center would include "up to 6.4 million square-feet of flexible industrial space," and "upon completion, it is estimated that between 3,500 and 5,000 people will be employed on site depending on end users." (Roseville Today)
- Several new California laws may be pertinent to residents of Roseville. In the first of a series, Roseville Today summarizes the "Budget Act, medical malpractice, tax refunds, higher education, cannabis, county jail financing, state employment and more."
- Roseville Police believe a fire that was reported Tuesday night in the 700 block of Gibson Drive was intentionally set. One person was detained and no injuries were reported. Police continue to investigate. (ABC10.com KXTV)
- According to the Department of Justice, a Roseville man pleaded guilty to “conspiracy to distribute and to possess with intent to distribute” drugs. Amandeep Multani worked with co-conspirators to coordinate deals for several types of drugs in Canada from their base in California. "As part of his plea agreement, Multani will cooperate with U.S. investigators, the DOJ said." (KTXL FOX 40 Sacramento)
