Roseville Firefighters Tackle 2 Fires in 1 Early Morning
The Roseville Fire Department responded to a house fire in Roseville and another in Rocklin Wednesday, June 20.

Roseville firefighters had a busy early morning on June 20 — they responded to two residential fires within an hour.
The first fire was reported at 12:21 a.m. in the 1200 block of Providence Way in Roseville, where a natural-gas fire was burning the exterior of a one-story house, according to a news release from the Roseville Fire Department.
Roseville firefighters were able to quickly control the gas supply, which was helping to fuel the fire, according to the release, and they extinguished the fire in the garage and attic. The damage is estimated at $140,000.

One person was injured during the fire, who suffered smoke inhalation and was transported to Kaiser Roseville Medical Center.
Less than an hour later, four Roseville Fire Department units assisted in a house fire in Rocklin at 1:03 a.m.

It took more than 90 minutes before this house fire, located in the 3400 block of Midas Avenue in Rocklin, was controlled, according to the release. The fire broke out in the home's garage and attic.
The cause of both fires are still under investigation.
