- Dang, did you know that the new Winding Creek community going up in West Roseville will consist of "more than 2,000 homes, an elementary school, four parks, and a retail center among various trails?" It will be five different neighborhoods, and one is already fully sold. Roseville is becoming very popular! The project will take about eight years to complete, and includes 140 acres of protected land that will never be developed. Here's a map of the master plan. (ABC10.com KXTV)
- City Council member Scott Alvord is suing Matthew Oliver, a local businessman, and Aaron Park, a blogger, for "defamation, false light, unfair business practices and declaratory relief," according to Gold Country Media. Alvord's lawsuit was filed Wednesday and is asking Oliver and Park "to remove and publicly retract the false and/or defamatory statements" they made about him "in advertisements, websites and social media posts," Gold Country Media reports.
- Roseville Police responded to East Roseville Parkway near a hotel in the early morning on October 1. They found a victim with "noticeable injuries" that were reportedly from an assault. Upon investigation it was determined that the alleged perpetrator was a Stanislaus County Sheriff's deputy, who has been put on administrative leave. “Roseville Police Department is handling the criminal investigation, and per policy, we will have no further statement regarding the internal investigation," Stanislaus County Sheriff Dikse said. (Gold Country Media)
- RPL wants you to explore our libraries! There will be extended hours at each of Roseville's three libraries on October 17. Each library has a unique personality, so with the extended hours, you can try one not so close to your home and see what it has to offer! (Roseville Today)
- Trash to treasure junkies, rejoice! Folsom City Council has reversed its decision on garage sales, so garage sales in Folsom can now be more than three consecutive days, and residents can now have more than two per year. Those limitations were first suspended on May 1, 2020. There have been no complaints, so the City Council decided to make those changes permanent. (ABC10.com KXTV)

It's "the point of view from the tip of a Truck Aerial Ladder during a truck operation training being performed this week by Roseville Firefighters."
