1. A Roseville man’s family is currently abroad on the frontlines helping refugees in war-torn Ukraine, and he's asking the local community to help, too. Gene Martz's son Chad, along with Chad's wife and daughter, is working with their organization Hungry for Life, which specializes in finding new places for fleeing refugees to stay. Martz reported that his son called him with a desperate plea for help to continue aiding Ukrainian citizens. 2. Residents of Roseville can now easily access data on city operations, finances, and public safety on the newly-launched Open Roseville site. Instead of submitting a records request or calling city departments, you can now search this convenient online portal to see datasets like bus ridership numbers, numbers of potholes filled on a monthly basis, and city water usage, among other things.
