🌱Roseville Native In Top 40 At Tour de France + R'ville Area Concerts

Here are the top five stories in Roseville today:

  1. To help those looking for a new house in the Roseville area, we've listed the three latest properties to hit the market, with information included on the next scheduled open house. There's one that's 2,300-plus square feet for under $600,000. That's a steal. (Roseville Patch)
  2. Roseville’s Neilson Powless is currently in the top 40 racers at the Tour de France, sitting at number 36 and third among Americans in the race. "Stage 12 of the 2022 Tour de France begins today and is considered a mountain stage, taking place in the French Alps. The stage can be streamed live on Peacock at 3:30 a.m. local time. A tape delay will air today on USA Network at noon," according to Gold Country Media. (Gold Country Media)
  3. Kenna Mitchell, 16, of Loomis became the first female winner of NASCAR Pro Late Model at the All American Speedway in Roseville on Saturday. Placer County Water Agency General Manager Andy Fecko has been named to serve on the newly-established Wildland Fire Mitigation and Management Commission that was created by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law signed by President Biden in 2021. One of 500 applicants nationwide, Fecko was appointed by the Secretaries of Agriculture and the Interior and the Federal Emergency Management Agency Administrator. “I am beyond grateful for being selected to serve on this important Commission and for the support I received from peers across the industry,” said Fecko. “This is a tremendous opportunity to usher in the next generation of federal legislation to make our forests more resilient and protect the nation’s watersheds.” (Roseville Today)
