  • Tuesdays are full of fun and games for the Fifty and Better (FAB) Club at the Maidu Community Center. Meet up at the rose garden at 8:30 a.m. for a brisk walk around the park or join in a game of Mexican Train Dominoes, American Mahjong or Bingo. Genealogy buffs meet in the afternoon to dig into the past. Not a member of FAB? Sign up is easy and affordable with options for limited-income applicants. 8:30 am-2:00 pm
  • Take a nature walk along beautiful Griffith Quarry Park in Penryn – with some goats. Hey, these adorable Nigerian Dwarf goats aren’t going to walk themselves! Bring the kids (human ones) for a fun morning of exercise and playing with other kids (animal ones). Tickets are $25 if you want to actually walk a goat, or $10 to accompany the group. 10:00 am-11:00 am
  • It might seem strange to bring the kiddos to a place called University of Beer, but you have to do something with them over Spring Break. You might as well go somewhere you can drink (it’s going to be a long week) and they eat free! The deal is good for one free kid’s meal for kiddos 10 and under with any regularly priced grownup meal. Tuesdays, 11:00 am-11:00 pm
  • The Apple Store in the Galleria Mall can help you make sure your kids’ data is secure while also teaching you about the latest privacy features available on iPhone and iPad at a free Skills: Your Kids and Their Devices class. Reserve your spot online. 4:00 pm-5:00 pm
  • Bring a little touch of farmhouse chic to your humble abode with this Barn Door Blossoms masterpiece you paint yourself. Creativity and good brews will be flowing at this Yaymaker paint and sip class at The Monk’s Cellar. 6:00 pm

From my notebook:

  • Wednesdays just got better. Starting tomorrow, Apr. 13, Roseville Parks & Recreation is bringing back Wine Down Wednesday! Come downtown with friends and family to take in the Town Square, listen to great tunes, and taste local wines for just $10 per person. Learn more at roseville.ca.us/events. (Instagram)
  • Save the date! On Aug. 6, 2022 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., the Roseville Tigers will be holding their Football Kickoff Dinner at Roseville Sports Complex. Bring the family and show your support for the 2022 high school football season! Ticket purchase information will be shared as the event gets closer. (Facebook)
