Roseville Police to Target Distracted Drivers
The Roseville Police Department will be increasing enforcement of texting and talking while driving in April.
April is National Distracted Driving Awareness Month and the Roseville Police Department is increasing its enforcement of talking and texting while driving during the month.
Joining the California Highway Patrol and other law enforcement agencies in the state, the Roseville Police will focus on distracted drivers.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration identified texting and cell phone use as the fastest growing distraction for drivers, according to a release from the Roseville Police Department.

“We encourage you to set a good example for your kids and not be a "zombie" driver; focus on the task of driving when behind the wheel,” the release said. “Remember, whatever the distraction, "It's not worth it!"”
