🌱 Roseville Readies for Nat'l Night Out + Free Dump Day!

Good morning, friends! I'm back with your fresh edition of the Roseville Daily. Here are all the things you need to know about what's happening these days in town.

Here are the top five stories in Roseville today:

  1. Want to know how Rocklin is spending its ARPA funds? It has committed more than $2 million already, in programs to support career and technical education, student mental health, small businesses, non-profits and entrepreneurship.   2. Roseville is getting all ready for National Night Out, when we spend the evening with our first responders. Many neighborhoods throughout Roseville will be hosting a variety of events such as block parties, cookouts, parades and visits from law enforcement. Everyone is encouraged to participate and our police and fire departments would love to join you at your event! Click HERE to register your event.   3. Roseville was all festive in its red, white and blue on Independence Day, with families coming out for everything from a parade to fireworks! There was food, festivities and fun for everyone!   4. The Roseville City Council made an adjustment to the budget, redirecting funds to workforce development at its meeting on Wednesday. These funds will be used by employers and educators in the community to actively build talent and improve skills within their employees, according to Roseville Economic Development manager Wayne Wiley. "One of the initiative’s main benefits, Roseville Area Chamber of Commerce Chief Executive Officer Rana Ghadban said, is that the Talent Pipeline Management Program often becomes employer-led, specifically with employers collaborating with local educators from institutions such as Sierra College and Sacramento State University," he said.
