Throughout national Emergency Medical Services Week (May 19-25), Kaiser Permanente Roseville Medical Center honored Placer County firefighters and paramedics from four EMS agencies for their heroic efforts in saving lives.
Individual responders received a plaque, while the agency itself also received a plaque that will include the names of new honorees every year.
ROSEVILLE FIRE DEPARTMENT
Battalion Chief/Paramedic Kathy Finney with Firefighter/Paramedic Glenn Asbell of Roseville Fire Department Engine 6. Asbell was honored by Kaiser Permanente during EMS Week 2013 for saving the life of a man who suffered a heart attack while exercising.

ROCKLIN FIRE DEPARTMENT
Rocklin Fire Department Engineer/Paramedic Sean Finders of Engine 25 received a plaque during EMS Week 2013 from Kaiser Permanente Roseville Medical Center for his diligent work in treating a senior citizen who had suffered a major heart attack.
