- Circus Vargas is coming to the Galleria! Thrill to the death defying aerial acts. Laugh with the clowns and treat your kids to an experience they won't soon forget. The circus will be in town from July 29 through August 14. Adult tickets range in price from $29 to $75 for a VIP experience. Kids 2 and under are free! (Roseville Today)
- Rocklin was a passenger stop on the original route of the Transcontinental Railroad. While the tracks reached Rocklin in 1864, the first depot wasn't built until 1867. That depot burned down in 1891 and was immediately replaced with another that was demolished in 1940, a victim of the depression. In 2007 the building that stands there now was built and houses ticketing and waiting areas on one side of the building and the chamber of commerce on the other. - The Studio Martial Arts and Fitness is hosting a Child Abduction Prevention Workshop on Saturday, August 6. Kids 4 through teen will be in one room, learning age appropriate safety instructions and lessons and getting fingerprinted. The parents will be in another room getting the adult content from Master Pourarian. (Facebook.com)
