Here are the top stories in Roseville today:

  1. Roseville CIO Hong Sae (or Sae, as he prefers to be called) has an impressive resume and a humble approach. He recently sat down with Government Technology to discuss his role, the priorities for technology strategy in Roseville and his approach to cybersecurity for our city, among other topics.
  2. Eight of Roseville's finest "Braved the Shave" at Westfield Galleria! First-year participant CSO Nioaka Monrajas was the top fundraiser on the Roseville Police Department team. From the pictures, it looks like everyone had a great time and I think they all look great, sporting their new looks! (City of Roseville, California Police Department via Facebook)
  3. Roseville firefighters responded to a vehicle rollover near I-80 and Atlantic Street. Watch as they use the jaws of life to extricate the victim. "Roseville Firefighters used specialized struts in order to stabilize the vehicle before removing the doors and pillar of the vehicle for ease of access and extrication of the victim inside the vehicle." (Roseville Firefighters Local 1592 via Facebook)
  4. The Roseville City Council reviewed the four-year strategic plan at its meeting February 21. The council reviewed the past year's successes and made updates to future milestones, given current economic and other conditions. Quite a list of accomplishments was reviewed and the list of changes was daunting. You can check it all out on the city website: (roseville.ca.us)
