Here are the top stories in Roseville today:

  • Housing is the talk of the town (and the county, and the state) these days – lack of it, affordability of it and where it’s going to go. Check out what the City of Roseville has planned to meet the ever-growing demand for new housing, including real numbers on permits issued and approved projects in this informative overview. • Up until about three years ago, North America’s oldest recognized sport was conspicuously absent from high school programs in South Placer County. We’re talking about lacrosse, a sport that was traditionally played in various Native American communities and is now the fastest growing collegiate-level sport as of 2018. Several area high schools, including Roseville High and Woodcreek field lacrosse teams for both girls and boys. Check out the standings for our local lacrosse programs. (Gold Country Media)
  • One popular Placer County business is doing what it does best to raise Autism Awareness during the month of April. Knee Deep Brewery in Auburn has come out with a special edition, unique English pale ale called, appropriately, A Perfect Fit. It's sold in a can emblazoned with the blue puzzle pieces and ribbon that traditionally symbolize the Autism Awareness movement. But Knee Deep does more than this to support the cause. It also employs individuals with autism through a partnership with PRIDE Industries. (KCRA 3)
