  1. Roseville Police Officer Chase Ivey was awarded the Roseville Benevolent Order Of Elks' Officer of the Year Award. Officer Ivey does it all. From taking criminals off the streets to busting drug operations to saving lives, this officer has shown his worthiness for the Elks award.   2. Citrus Heights police responded to a report of a suspicious package in the area of Crosswoods Circle and Vera Cruz Court on Saturday. The package looked suspicious enough that the Sacramento bomb squad was called. But, according to authorities, the styrofoam box contained a pyrotechnic firework, not a bomb. The investigation into the incident is ongoing. (KCRA Sacramento)
  3. A multi-car crash on Highway 65 near Pleasant Grove Boulevard closed lanes of the highway on Saturday. The incident backed up traffic in the area. (ABC10.com KXTV)
  4. Filmmakers are looking at Placer County to stage their flicks and the county is asking for your help to woo them! "The Placer County Film Office is asking residents to add their homes, cabins, barns or properties to our new location library for the possibility of being selected for the next big production in the region."
