Should Medical Marijuana Cultivation be Regulated in Roseville?

That's one issue the Roseville City Council will tackle during the meeting Wednesday night. Downtown Tuesday Nights may also be extended by two weeks.

Should the cultivation of medical marijuana be regulated in Roseville? That’s the question will address during the meeting Wednesday night.

Stemming from some residents’ concerns regarding backyard marijuana gardens, councilmembers will discuss the issue to determine if outdoor cultivation should be prohibited. The regulation could require pot gardens to be moved indoors or stay unchanged – that’s all up to the council’s action (or no action) at Wednesday’s meeting.

Also on the council agenda is city staff asking for to extend by two more weeks. Rainy weather forecasts forced two Downtown Tuesday Nights to cancel this summer. If the extension is approved, the street fair would continue on Aug. 2 and Aug. 9.
