- Kenna Mitchell of Loomis and Dylan Zampa of Napa prevailed at All American Speedway in Roseville on Saturday taking home the top spot in each of their races. Roseville’s Josh Whitfield won his fifth Super Stock feature of the season. "Up next for All American Speedway is the Summerfest on July 23, including NASCAR Late Model Twins, the Super Stock Challenge, Modified, F4, Jr. Late Model and Mini Cup/Bando racing." - To make it easier for Roseville residents to get timely and important city news and event information, the city has joined Simplicity - a free government-oriented smartphone app. Never miss important, verified city updates. Download it for free and don't worry, they won't capture any of your personal data. “The community let us know they wanted an app to get verified and timely information from a trusted source,” said Roseville Mayor Krista Bernasconi. “With Simplicity, information can be customized and easily accessed, simply with touch on our smartphones.” (roseville.ca.us)
- Two new businesses opened in Roseville in July. Lush Balloons "creates high-quality balloon garlands, arches, bouquets, and custom installations." Airport Home Appliance is a retail showroom "for midline and luxury brands of large and small home appliances" that opened on Lead Hill Road. It has over 80 brands of refrigerators, dishwashers, cooking ranges, washers, dryers and more. (Style Magazine)
