Here are the top stories in Roseville today:
- Roseville Police have arrested Ivan P. Timofeyev, 26, of Antelope on charges of attempted kidnapping and communicating with a minor with intent to commit a crime for allegedly trying to lure three teenaged girls into his vehicle in Roseville on Monday night. The incident reportedly took place on the corner of Westbrook and Pleasant Grove boulevards. Investigators would like to speak with anyone who has relevant information on this case, or who may have had a similar encounter with Timofeyev. (CBS Sacramento)
- Thanks to the quick work of about 200 firefighters, assigned from a variety of local regions, and Cal Fire, the Bennett Fire near Grass Valley was limited to about 60 acres and was largely contained as of yesterday. Most evacuees were able to return home, with the exception of two zones. The cause of the fire is under investigation. (ABC 10)

- Placer County was one of four California counties covered in a wildfire disaster declaration approved by President Joe Biden on Tuesday night.
