Teen Pepper Sprayed at Woodcreek High

A Roseville Police resource officer pepper sprayed a 17-year-old after he refused to leave campus.

A teen was pepper sprayed shortly after school was dismissed Wednesday afternoon after he attempted to come onto campus.

The 17-year-old, who is not a Woodcreek High student, tried to come onto campus around 2:40 p.m. and refused to identify himself. He did not obey the Roseville Police resource officer's multiple requests to leave, according to Dee Dee Gunther with the Roseville Police Department.

The teen was uncooperative and pepper spray was used to get him in custody, Gunther said.

Gunther said police were unsure if the teen had any weapons and do not know why he wanted on campus.

A couple officers were treated on scene for minor scrapes, Gunther said, but no other injuries were reported.
