  2. Rocklin police are joining with the California Highway Patrol's Organized Retail Crime Task Force. This collaboration is designed to help identify and arrest shoplifters. 3. On Thanksgiving Day, Roseville's Tarbiya Institution prepared 400 meals for refugees and local shelters. "We have a lot of refugee and homeless people in Sacramento. And so, we figured the least that we can do is our responsibility. If we have enough and we're fortunate enough to be able to put food on our tables. Then we should put an effort to help people that are less fortunate," said Yousef Nawabi, the Tarbiya Group's Coordinator. (ABC10.com KXTV)
  4. Roseville's Vernon Street Town Square is the place to be on December 1! That's because the Christmas tree lighting is happening that night. The festivities include "decorating Christmas cookies, meeting Santa, a kids’ activity zone, music and food, according to the city of Roseville’s website. The official lighting of the tree begins at 6:10 p.m." Be there or be square! (Gold Country Media)
  5. The Placer County Board of Supervisors has a packed agenda on Tuesday. The supervisors will consider a memorandum of understanding with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife for management of the Bear River Fishing Access Property.
