Does your real estate agent really understand the market?

The real estate market in our area is changing rapidly. Consider:

  • Median sale price is down 10% since May
  • Sales volume has declined by about 25%
  • Mortgage rates have increased faster than at any point in the last 40 years

Changing markets present opportunities. And whether buying, selling or investing, to find those opportunities you need a Realtor with deep local knowledge and an understanding of the latest market data and trends.

Here are the top stories in Roseville today:

  1. Roseville is Placer County's manufacturing hub. That fact is not lost on Quick Quack Car Wash, the nation's fourth largest car wash company, which recently decided to move its manufacturing to Roseville, resulting in 60 new jobs, including both software and hardware engineering. More jobs are planned for the city as the business continues to grow. (Roseville)
  2. Kaiser is also planning an expansion in Roseville. "Plans are starting to move forward for Kaiser Permanente’s Inpatient Bed Tower project," says KCRA3. The project would add 138 hospital beds and 728 new jobs to the city. The planning commission approved the amendment needed last week and now it's up to the city council to hear the proposal. Two public hearings are also required. (KCRA Sacramento)
  3. The City of Roseville wants to help you keep online purchases safe this holiday season. The city has a list of tips for online shopping as well as keeping those packages safe from porch pirates. "If you believe you’re a victim of package or mail theft, file a report on the Roseville Police Department website: www.roseville.ca.us" (Roseville)
  4. A police substation was approved by the Rocklin City Council for the Rocklin West Shopping Center at its meeting on November 8. The council got an update on the Rocklin Road and Pacific Street Roundabout Project and recognized 40 years of service from Rocklin Friends of the Library. See a full accounting of these issues in the meeting minutes at this city website: (rocklin.ca.us)
  5. "Wayback Burgers of Roseville will host a two-day Burger Bash in honor of its five-year anniversary and new restaurant ownership. During the festivities, guests can enjoy a Buy One, Get One Free Classic Burger in-restaurant. Guests can also enter to win various prizes, including free burgers for a year and Wayback Burgers gift cards. Six lucky winners will be announced throughout the day." Head over there on November 19 and 20 for the fun. (Patch)
