Weekend Weather: Relief from Heat Wave?

Temperatures will be cooler but still in the 90s.

Good news: triple-digit temperatures won't follow us into the weekend.

But don't call it a cooling trend just yet.  Highs will be in the low- to mid-90s Saturday and Sunday, so make sure to wear plenty of sunscreen if you're headed outdoors and stay hydrated by drinking fluids. .

Saturday, July 14: This will be the coolest day of the weekend, with highs around 95 degrees and a slight west southwest wind of 3 to 6 mph.  The overnight low will be around 61 degrees.

Sunday, July 15: Things will warm up slightly with a high around 97 degrees and a mild breeze from the southwest at 3 to 5 mph.  The overnight low will be 62 degrees.
