
Breanna Winder, PhD. and Chiraag Patel, M.D. were married the evening of August 31, 2013 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The romantic candlelit wedding ceremony was held in a gorgeous freemason theater built in 1910.
The groom grew up in Roseville and graduated from Jesuit High School and University of California Davis.
The bride grew up in a small town in central Pennsylvania near Williamsport and graduated from Bryn Mawr College.

The newlyweds met in Philadelphia where Dr. Patel completed a two-year fellowship in allergy/asthma/immunology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Beginning this month, Dr. Patel joined Pulmonary Medicine Associates in Sacramento.
Dr. Winder specializes in autism and anxiety disorders and is currently completing a fellowship in autism spectrum disorder at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the University of Pennsylvania. She then plans to obtain a position as a child psychologist in the Sacramento area.

The bride’s sister, Tysa Sten, was her matron of honor and the groomsmen included Matthew Picchi and Dan Corcoran from Roseville.
The entire wedding was planned by the newlyweds to incorporate special personal vows and both cultural backgrounds. This included walking around a fire after each of their seven oaths to each other and the lighting of a unity candle to symbolize the union of the bride and groom.
The couple honeymooned in Thailand during December and will reside in the Roseville/Sacramento area.
