Bodies – The Science Within: An exhibition about the human body comes to Sacramento (fox40.com) — Sacramento residents can explore a major touring human-body exhibition at Memorial Auditorium from Oct. 2 to Nov. 29, featuring real preserved specimens and interactive galleries. Open daily 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., the exhibit explains body systems in an accessible way, with tickets ranging from free for young children to $24 for adults.
2. 2 women assaulted outside Badlands nightclub in Sacramento's Lavender Heights district (kcra.com) — Two women suffered minor injuries after an early Monday assault outside Badlands in Sacramento's Lavender Heights, adding to recent attacks targeting LGBTQ+ people in Midtown. Police are still investigating possible bias motives, while local groups plan Safe Space training and better K Street lighting to improve safety in this historically welcoming neighborhood.
3. La Dispute featured on Audiotree's 'From Nothing' series (lambgoat.com) — Fans in Sacramento can catch La Dispute live at the Aftershock Festival on October 3, part of a newly announced run of shows following their Audiotree in‑studio performance.
