Get your wings & get ready to...

Join us for a day of classic cars, camaraderie, and honoring our veterans and military personnel who died in service to their country at the Veterans' Memorial Day Car Show. This special event will take place at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 25th, 2026, at 2300 Front Street next to the California Automobile Museum.&nbsp;
There is no fee for spectators; museum admission is not included with the show for general public attendees. $5 classic car rides will be available as well, so you can experience history firsthand on the streets of Sacramento! Want to participate? Register your car and be part of this annual show. Preregistration is $35; registration on the day of is $45. Each registrant gets a free lunch per car, museum admission, and their car entered to win a long list of prizes!
Gates open for show cars at 9:00 a.m., the show starts at 10:00 with recognition of veterans,&nbsp; awards are at around 1:30, and the show ends at 2:00.

The Metro Swing Band is quickly winning our hearts and feet. This big band brings big sounds and an infectious style that draws you out onto the dance floor. Put those insoles in your dancing shoes because you’ll be on your feet all night!
Never been swing dancing before? Do you have two left feet? Do you think you lack rhythm? That's no problem at all for us. At 8:00 pm, we'll teach you the steps you need to know to have a good time. It's even included in the cost of admission.
No partner? No problem. Our classes are social and rotate partners and you'll meet a ton of cool, new people. Do you have a partner and only want to dance with them? That's cool with us too. When the class rotates just stay with your favorite person.
