CHP Vehicle Hit In Rancho Cordova: Police
"SLOW DOWN, use your headlights, and drive with extra caution as roadways are flooding!" authorities warned.
RANCHO CORDOVA, CA — A California Highway Patrol vehicle was struck Tuesday in Rancho Cordova, authorities said.
The CHP East Sacramento X account posted around 11:45 a.m. that the crash had occurred on U.S. 50 west of Sunrise Boulevard. The officer and the other involved person were not hurt, authorities said, urging drivers to "please be cautious in inclement weather."
"SLOW DOWN, use your headlights, and drive with extra caution as roadways are flooding!" the social media post said.
