SACRAMENTO, CA — The winter solstice was on Wednesday marking the shortest day of sunlight in 2022. Each day will get longer until we reach the summer solstice next June.
Claus Weisemann snapped these photos in Barandas Park the first week of December, as the sun set on a beautiful fall day.
