Homicide Investigation – 7400 Block Of S Land Park Drive In Sacramento

July 24, 2021

On July 23, 2021 at approximately 9:30 p.m., Sacramento Police Department patrol officers responded to the 7400 block of S Land Park Dr regarding a subject who was located deceased inside of a residence. The victim, an adult female, sustained serious injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene by personnel from the Sacramento Fire Department.

Homicide detectives and crime scene investigators responded to take over the investigation. The circumstances surrounding this incident are still under investigation and there is no suspect information to provide at this time. Detectives conducted a canvass of the area for witnesses and evidence as part of the investigation to determine what occurred.

The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the victim after next of kin have been notified.
