The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in Sacramento.

Happy Monday, neighbors! These are the most important things happening in town today.
First, today's weather:
Clouds giving way to some sun. High: 58 Low: 37.
Here are the top five stories in Sacramento today:
- Want to unleash your beast or whistle Sweet Georgia Brown? Then, you'll want to know some of the events that are coming up this month at the Golden 1 Center. Everything from bulls to b-ball and beyond can be found at the venue. ABC10 has a sampling for you. (ABC10)
- Thousands flocked to the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center in downtown Sacramento for the SacAnime convention this past weekend. Kenny James has voiced the Super Mario Brothers' Bowser for the past 18 years and he told FOX40 the turnout at the convention has been amazing with everyone doing what they must to follow the safety protocols. "SacAnime is a great event for everybody to come and have a great time, to be themselves, to meet incredible guests. Opportunities to talk to your heroes are here at this convention," Scott Zillner, owner of the toy news website Toy Wizards, said. (FOX40)
- Louis Jimenezgrigaitis, 28, was arrested on Thursday and faces charges for attempting to meet with a minor for sex and carrying a loaded firearm, the Elk Grove Police Department told KCRA 3. Jimenezgrigaitis was arrested after a YouTube channel called, the "Creep Catching Unit" or "CC Unit," caught him during a child predator sting operation inside an Elk Grove Walmart. Authorities say he was trying to meet a minor for sex. He was released from the Sacramento County Jail on Friday on $100,000 bail. (KCRA3)
- The Powerball winner in Sacramento still hasn't claimed their winnings, but that doesn't stop the store that sold the winning ticket from collecting. The 7-Eleven on Wyndam Drive still gets its cut. How much is that, you ask? How about a cool $1 million? The owner says he may take his family on vacation, but other than that, things will continue much as they have been, even with the big prize. He expects to keep the store and continue to work there "forever." (CBS Sacramento)
- Friday, the Sacramento Police Department followed up on a report of gunshots in South Sacramento. After getting a search warrant at a residence believed to be responsible, they searched the home and found four illegally possessed firearms. The suspect was arrested for possession of the illegally owned firearms. (CBS Sacramento)
