Merryhill Preschool Students Collect 100+ Pairs of Pajamas

Students held a pajama drive to give back during the holiday season

Students at Merryhill Preschool on Calvine Road in Elk Grove recently organized a pajama drive to support Mattress Firm’s Foster Kids™ Pajama Drive. Students worked together to collect 108 pairs of new pajamas for local foster children in need. Through their efforts, students learned the importance of giving to others, especially during the holiday season.

The Mattress Firm Foster Kids Pajama Drive accepts donations of new pajamas, packaged underwear and socks at various store locations, as well as online donations to support foster care. Mattress Firm believes all children should feel safe and snug at bedtime, but for foster children, spending their first nights in a new home, separated from family and familiar faces, can feel lonely and difficult. Something as simple as a warm, new pair of pajamas can make a big difference in their lives.
