Merryhill Students Sponsor 60 Children Through Angel Tree Program

Students at Merryhill Preschool on Karitsa Avenue in Natomas recently held a gift drive for The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program, which connects children in need with organizations that donate toys, clothing and other items from the child’s holiday wish list. Students and their families sponsored more than 60 children through the program and donated gifts, including dolls, toy trucks, clothes, books and more. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping other children in their community, especially during the holiday season.
