Motorcycle Ride Along The Sacramento River: Photos Of The Day
A pair of photos was captured with a drone while others are ground level.
SACRAMENTO, CA — Our beautiful fall weather has been perfect for outdoor pursuits, including riding motorcycles. One reader, who uses the online name Gogo Bean for anonymity, took a ride with his son earlier this month.
Bean told Patch in an email that he spotted Autumn On The American River: Photo Of The Day and decided to submit his own experience.
"My son and I love riding our motorcycles together and it was a beautiful day out so we set off from Freeport on the west side of the banks to Sherman Island and then turned and came back on the west side of the banks. We ride whenever possible together and have many interesting perspectives from our saddles."

Bean captured the first two photos above with a drone. "I thought that not only was it a beautiful day but also an interesting perspective that not many can see. I use a drone, a GoPro, a Sony, and my phone when I go out on my rides and capture some really nice material."
