Sacramento Harvest Festival Showcases an Array of Handmade Gifts

Annual Shopping Festival Returns with One-of-a-Kind Gifts and New Live Entertainment

The West Coast’s largest indoor arts and crafts show is headed to Cal Expo November 22-24, bringing with it thousands of unique gifts, delicious food, and continuous live entertainment.

Attendees will be wowed as they browse an expansive selection of handmade and embellished items, including original art, jewelry, photography, pottery, clothing, specialty foods, décor and more. The event falls right before Thanksgiving, giving guests the chance to shop for distinctive holiday themed products like a centerpiece or wreath, fall inspired jewelry, or even a delicious party appetizer.

One of the things that makes the Harvest Festival so unique is the atmosphere, combining personal, one-on-one artist interaction in a setting which offers family fun throughout the day.

Brand new entertainment act Bri Crabtree will bring her “Totally Sweet Circus Show” to the Harvest Festival stage as she juggles, rides her unicycle, and delights crowds with her silly antics. Doo-Wop group Sister Swing will also be on hand performing nostalgic Boogie Woogie musical numbers. Plus, guests can keep their eye out for strolling performers like the hilarious “Horsey Guys” and a stilt walking Santa who will be wandering the festival and mingling with shoppers.

The hands-on KidZone area, hosted by the Sacramento Children’s Museum, will offer a fun, make-and-take craft activity for kids of all ages. There will also be free child ID kits offered nearby, hosted by New York Life.

The AT&T Pioneers have once again been selected as official non-profit partner of the Sacramento Harvest Festival. The volunteer network, which aids local communities through educational outreach, local food drives, and natural disaster assistance, will receive half of the proceeds from shopping bag sales and all the proceeds from the parcel check and gift-wrapping station.

The Sacramento Harvest Festival will help give back to the community by partnering with Elk Grove Food Bank Services to host a food drive onsite. Anyone who brings a non-perishable food donation to the show will receive $2 off a general or senior admission.
