Students at Merryhill Preschool in Natomas Donate More Than 90 Toys

Students at Merryhill Preschool on Danbrook Drive in Natomas recently collected 98 toys to benefit Toys for Tots, a gift drive run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. Throughout the month of December, students worked together to collect the items to bring joy to children in need during the holiday season. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping others in the community.

Toys for Tots, a 70-year national charitable program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, provides happiness and hope to less fortunate children during each holiday season. The toys, books and other gifts collected and distributed by Marines and volunteers offer these children recognition, confidence and a positive memory for a lifetime.
