Three Shootings Shake Stockton On Saturday

One man was found fatally shot inside a Stockton motel room Saturday while two other separate shootings left two injured the same day.

STOCKTON, CA — One man was found fatally shot inside a Stockton motel room Saturday while two other separate shootings left a man and woman injured the same day, police said.

Officers responded to the 1300 block S. Wilson Way at 5:41 p.m. on reports of a person shot in the Park District.

A 51-year-old man, who had been shot, was found dead inside a motel room.

A motive for the shooting is not known and an arrest has not been made at this time.

At 8:01 p.m. police received reports of a second shooting that left a man injured.

Officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Grand Canal Boulevard in the Lakeview District after a 24-year-old man was shot by an unknown suspect.

The victim is expected to survive and received treatment at a hospital, police said.

Twenty-six minutes later, a 19-year-old woman was shot and injured in the 2800 block of Yellowstone Avenue in the Park District.

According to police, the woman was walking in the area when she was shot.

She was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.

No arrests were made in connection to the three shootings.
