Small Vegetation Fire Sparks Near Mather Airport
Fire officials said the flames were not threatening Mather Airport.
SACRAMENTO — A vegetation fire sparked Monday morning near Mather Airport in Sacramento County.
The quarter-acre blaze broke out near Mather Airport, which is 12 miles east of Sacramento. Metro Fire responded to the scene.
Fire officials said the flames were not threatening the airport.
