Walks In The Parks: Photos Of The Day

Sacramento has thousands of acres of parks.

SACRAMENTO, CA — Sacramento is crisscrossed by 223 parks and parkways, covering more than 4,200 acres, according to the city park directory. Claus Weisemann has been strolling through several, providing photos of Barandas Park, Orchard Park, and Two Rivers Park.

Claus told Patch in an email, "The nearby parks offer green spaces and relaxation." And, apparently, solitude. When is the last time you visited one of Sacramento's lovely parks?

Thank you for sharing your photos, Claus!
