1 Hospitalized After Rolando House Fire
A blaze at a home in San Diego's Rolando neighborhood Tuesday sent one person to a hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation.
SAN DIEGO — A smoky house fire in a Rolando-area neighborhood sent one person to a hospital Tuesday.
The blaze was reported shortly before 10 a.m. in the 3800 block of Vista Grande Drive, near the intersection of College Avenue and state Route 94, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
Firefighters arrived to find a smoldering fire in the attic of the home, the agency reported.

Medics took one person to UCSD Medical Center for treatment of smoke inhalation.
Investigators determined that the blaze resulted from an unreported kitchen fire that occurred at the residence on Monday night, SDFRD spokeswoman Monica Munoz said.
