Two people were taken to the hospital — one suffering serious injuries and another under suspicion of DUI — after a head-on accident.

SAN DIEGO, CA —Two people were taken to the hospital — one suffering serious injuries and another under suspicion of DUI — Wednesday after a head-on accident in Hillcrest.
At around 2:30 a.m., a woman in a GMC Sierra pickup entered state Route 163 south from University Avenue going the wrong direction and collided with a man in a Honda CR-V, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The man was transported to a local hospital suffering major injuries.
