1 Killed In Semi-Truck Rollover Crash On I-8 In San Diego

SAN DIEGO, CA — A person was killed Thursday when a semi-truck hauling a trailer rolled over and caught on fire on Interstate 8 in San Diego, authorities said.

The crash was reported shortly before 3 a.m. on westbound I-8 at the Hotel Circle Drive off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol's traffic incident log.

A witness reported there was debris in the lanes.
