Immigration officials found 10 life vests on a small abandoned boat near the Ocean Beach Pier.
SAN DIEGO, CA — Immigration officials found 10 life vests on an small abandoned boat near the Ocean Beach Pier, triggering a search of the area Friday.
The panga was found 100 yards north of the pier around 5:40 a.m. with the life jackets and 40 gallons of fuel, Fox 5 reported.
The San Diego Fire and Rescue Department notified border officials, and will search the beach Friday.
