About 15 children ages 1 to 6 took bags of psilocybin gummies left on a porch in Ocean Beach on Halloween, according to police.

SAN DIEGO, CA — Two men were arrested after about 15 children received psilocybin gummies while trick-or-treating on Halloween in San Diego's Ocean Beach neighborhood, authorities said.

The children, ages 1 to 6, took bags of psilocybin-infused gummies left on the porch of a home in the 2100 block of Sunset Cliffs Boulevard shortly before 6 p.m. Oct. 31, according to the San Diego Police Department.

Parents noticed the suspicious packages, confronted the residents and later reported the incident to police. A package saved by the parents tested positive for psilocybin, a hallucinogenic substance found in certain mushrooms, police said.
